LUM AT BAT by Taimlupin Rich
There was energy in Lum's movement as she flew there ov~er the ground.
She yelled "Darling" to Ataru and then Lum waved as she gently settled down.
Then responding to the lear Ataru gave some girls joggling by,
Lum released a bolt of lightning and Ataru looked deep fried.
All of Tomobiki's eyes were on Lum as she rubbed her hands with GLEE*
Lum floated over the plate waving the bat around for everyone to see.
Now Ranma for the Dojo's pitched and the ball it bent the air.
Lum in her bikini hoovered as she watched it pass her there.
"Strike One" The Umpire called. A very angry roar filled the stand.
"The ball was fair," he yelled. "She should have been on the land."
With a smile of determination Lum gripped tight the bat.
Ranma did a Kung Fu dance and threw the ball to fly flat.
Lum was now full of energy and hitting it out she really tried.
But she not only missed the ball but the bat was now really fried.
A rumbling roar filled the stands, and shouts of 'LUM WE LOVE YOU'.
Lum caught him watching girls close and then requick fried Ataru.
"No Baka," she then cried at him and the stands went quiet there.
No more yells of, 'Kill The Umpire", "Foul" and "That Call's Not Fair".
Then determination filled Lum's eyes, and her energy filled the air.
Ranma wound up to pitch the ball and threw it toward her there.
Then the rain hit Ranma and before all eyes to a girl changed.
The Umpire called, "The Dojo's will lose the game on account of rain".
The Umpire announced, "You can't change the Pitcher in the middle of the game.
The Pitcher changing from boy to girl like Ranma did the rules say is the same."
An angry yell rose from the bleachers on the rain's falling trip.
Lum suddenly raised her hands into the air sending energy to her ship.
Affecting her weather machine within and a switch then did flip.
The sun now brightly shining on the ball during it's faithful trip.
Still onward toward Lum the ball it came so straight and true.
Lum's energy went through the bat sending the ball into the blue.
They finally found the ball a mile away no cover to it's name.
Tomobiki won that day. The score ~ undecided because of rain.

cleaning the hands and lubricating them so the baseball will not
stick to the hands. It also provides better control of the ball and bat. What
